Massage

Massage is a very effective health care practice that can alleviate problems that in time may become deeper issues that are more difficult to address.

Your horse may need a massage
if he or she . . .

• Has had dental problems.

• Has had poor or improper saddle or bridle fit.

• Has had a recent fall, injury, surgery, or trauma.

• Flinches or arches his back with pressure to his spine.

• Is refusing, hesitating, or switching leads.

• Is hanging a leg over jumps or jumping flat.

• Is resisting bending or extension.

• Is carrying his head too high or too low.

• Is shaking or throwing his head.

• Is complaining when saddled or bridled.

• Is holding his tail to one side.

These are not training issues,

they are indications of physical discomfort!
